News Update!

These past few weeks, things have been really sad, crazy and hectic. We are trying to sail with the winds of change and just shift those sails when the storms come. Some of you are aware that Jason has had a hard week this last week. Not only was he dealing with some horrific things that happened, but one of his grandmothers died this past weekend. He wasnt able to be there because she had no service and was cremated. So, we get to honor her here! We are going to do something to say goodbye to her...

Jason did participate in a BIG childrens musical this past Sunday which brought him some joy and confidence . He had to memorize lines AND sang in a little PRAISE team too. He was so bubbly and jumpy afterwards. We celebrated at Jason's favorite place....MCDONALD'S of course! That was a joyful thing to see....he was so confident and proud!

For many reasons, we are having to leave Bev and Jim's home. They have been gracious for 3 months and we appreciate their hospitality. Unfortunately, Russ has not found a job yet that pays well enough to move out on our own so we will be housesitting at several different homes these next few weeks. You can still reach us at our phone number and through email OR this blog! We will be checking both regularly. Pray for our sanity in this transition and pray for Russ to get some call backs on those 65 resumes' that have been sent out. He heard back from the Birmingham Zoo but nothing else since this last Thursday.

Life is full of things that we can't control. We have to grieve, feel sorry for ourselves a little and then move on to what we do next. We have the hope that Jesus Christ is there for us...helping us shift the sails when the storms come! We will get through this.......

Verse we are learning this week in homeschool:

" I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength." Phillipians 4:13
