As you can see, Jason's BIG present this year was a puppy. She is a Chow/Lab(we think)mix and she is 8 weeks old. Jason named her Cheyenne. She is very sweet and the cats actually don't mind her...actually they just sniff her and then move on back to the bedroom.
Unfortunately, we had a storm this afternoon and the lights went out from 5-730pm. We had cake by candle light and it was fun. We then played Scrabble in the near dark. Then the lights came on and we had a veggie/dip and chips meal for dinner.
Over all Jason had a great birthday. He was thoroughly surprised! We made him guess for 3 days what his present was and he never did. Our friends above, the Swedenburgs, gave Jason the puppy.
Thanks to all who made Jason's birthday special! The phone calls meant a lot to him. He also received some spending money, a few Bionicles and some dog accessories!

Jason's Birthday-Part Deaux!
Jason's 14th Birthday-Part 1 Friday night!
Friday night started out Jason's birthday with a trip to the Montgomery Biscuits game. They are the minor league team of the Tampa Devil Rays. Jays friends Khonner and JT went along as well as Steven and Russ and Lisa...It went 12 innings with no score until they got ONE run at 10:45pm. Needless to say, it was a longggggggggggg night!

Celebrate Jason's 14th birthday by supporting foster care adoption at Wendy's!
Our family is going to get Frosty's at Wendy's this weekend to honor Jason and support foster care adoption. Every frosty will donate 50 cents to Foster Care Adoption!
