Well, we got through the first week with a good ending. We had a little glitch last night...sometimes it is hard to tell between being 14 and being bi-polar! We just used it as a life lesson and went on. We will continue to monitor. Meds seem to make his mind clearer and more focused. He even admitted that himself..that he felt he had a clearer mind..isn't that what we have been praying for?? Yea God!
Russ and I have had the exhaustion hit hard this week. We have slept a lot and tried to take it easy this week. This weekend we even overslept for church(sorry Cliff!!) but our bodies needed it so bad....all 4 of us woke up at 11am this morning. I haven't done that since college!
Continue to pray for us in these specific areas:
1. That Jason will continue to be clear minded and focused. Along with his medical challenges, this is a very hard time of year for Jason from his past. This week though, he has actually been excited about "doing Christmas" and that is a good sign.
2. That Russ, Steven and I will get the much needed "catch up" rest. And that others will be patient with us in that area.
3. That both of our boys will continue to find healing from their past and that they will come closer to having new and tender hearts every day!
I showed Jason the number of folks who have been praying for him and he got teary the other day. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers for him and our family! It does not go unappreciated.
This 2nd week of Advent is the week of PEACE. Our prayer for our sons is that they will have peace in their hearts so that they can have the abundant life of joy that Jesus promises.
Peace to you this week,
Lisa
The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the prayer of the righteous is powerful." (James 5:15-16).

(Not to take away from your post here...) How'd you block off the picture from this background? It's a neat idea, and I like the background... I just wish that the picture would scroll with the text. :)
